I saw Norway's entry into Eurovision 2009 for the first time yesterday, and I got a few things to say.
Firstly, Traditional Norwegian dancing mixes really well with breakdancing and looks good on stage, I now really like Frikar (the dancing group)
Secondly, this isn't half bad, at least if you ignore his singing. And the bimbos, ignore them too.
Armenia, another song ruined by English... Good beat and everything else though
Something totally different from Germany
This song has stirred up a lot of stuff. Israel, we got a Jewish Israeli and an Arab Israeli singing together...
Oh lord... Only in Eurovision...

Traditional Norwegian dancing is pretty damn awesome looking when mixed with breakdancing. Also, I kind of hate the singing, but I love the violin.
Armenia's... would be better not in English. Yeaaah. Why are Eurovision songs so often in English, anyway? Is it sort of a common denominator for a lot of European countries, or is there some other terribly compelling reason for it?
I'm sort of meh on Germany's, though there does seem to be gratuitous male nipple exposure.
Israel's is gorgeous. (As are the singers. Wow.)
And granted, the last one is Ukraine. I mean, when you consider Verka Serduchka (who I adore), Ruslana (who is AWESOME), and... the lady I can't remember the name of from last year, they tend to have quite the variety. And a lot of weird.
