So, l've been a fan of Nick Woolsey since I started with poi, now 3 years ago (damned time flies right) and he has a book out. Not about poi but seems like fun. It is more about life and stuff. I have read the PDF of the first few chapters (can be found here) and I am liking it. I am seriously considering getting the book. Nick is a funny charismatic man and my great enjoyment of poi is in large part thanks to him. Also due to him my interest for other types of juggling have developed (double staff and metor). So if you want to support an artist who have influenced my life for the better, consider getting his book. I know I will.
I am working on talking my bother into doing a fire juggling session with me before I leave. I do firestaff and poi and my brother juggle fire clubs and breathe fire. We got into it in different ways but it is one of our cool sibling things we do. My brother learned to juggle and breathe fire in a fire workshop a few years ago.
And all of this would never have happened if it wasn't for Nick and all his great work. The girl that thought me and Buns most of what we know had learned from his example. So yeah. Thank you Nick.
